During Brown’s move years ago, she stumbled upon replacing pieces of marble that her movers broke. “Although I had a construction background, the stone world was new to me. The thing I love most about it is the beauty of natural stone. Seeing full slabs of marble, granite or quartzite still take my breath away. It is amazing that it comes out of the ground looking like a dull rock and after the polishing process becomes a piece of art,” said Brown.
After four long years working with a granite company upon her arrival to New Jersey, Brown’s partner instilled an endeavoring encouragement by possessing an aptitude for business. After much consideration, Brown took the risk of opening up her own company. Thus, her company involves great interaction with clients on a very personal level. “We want to maintain a relationship with our customers and do their next kitchen 10 years from now.
