Da Vinci’s keeps Upper Montclair happy with their pizza!
For many years, the residents of Upper Montclair have had their pallets complemented by one of the most authentic and fresh pizzeria’s in the area. Da Vinci’s is a brick oven pizzeria, and while many pizza places throw that term around, Da Vinci’s has taken that aspect to their restaurant seriously for over 20 years.
“I’ve always loved that Da Vinci’s has their own taste and way of doing things,” said passionate pizza lover and Montclair resident Jack Tanenbaum said about the restaurant. “I could pick Da Vinci’s pizza out of dozens of others.”
Da Vinci’s is located at 233 Bellevue Ave., right in the heart of Upper Montclair. This is part of the reason why it is such a familiar and beloved place for many longtime residents of the town. While it has changed its name over the years, the pizzeria remains true to many of its values, including serving Montclair well. The employees of Da Vinci’s are always held in high regard, with many of the reviews stating that they loved the service just as much as the food itself.
Still, much of the appeal stems from the fact that Da Vinci’s uses high quality ingredients and masterful technique in their pizzas. The tomatoes are imported from Italy, and then met with fine care and passion from the chefs at Da Vinci’s. They are ground by hand and used in many of the dishes that can be found on the menu.
The menu is an exhibition in the art of Italian dining. Cheese, meat, bread, and vegetables are blended perfectly in items that are diverse yet familiar. While everything on the menu shares flavor, care and professionalism, some of the favorites on the menu include the Chicago deep dish pizza, Penne alla Vodka pasta dish, Da Vinci’s “special” Italian Sausage Panini and the Antipasto Salad.
