Atomic Wings at CARS Delivery - The Montclair Dispatch

Atomic Wings brings the heat.

If you’re in the mood for something spicy, look no further than the branch of Atomic Wings Express in CARS Delivery right on Valley Road. Atomic Wings provides great selections in both “express” locations and free-standing locations. The express locations, such as the one that operates out of CARS Delivery in Montclair, run out of a larger business with a smaller menu, whereas the free-standing restaurants offer more of a selection. Currently, Atomic Wings operates out of 36 locations.

Adam Lippin is the founder of Atomic Wings and CEO of Atomic Wings Franchise, Inc. Lippin’s job is to “support stores and expand the brand,” and he is currently working on opening an Atomic Wings in both San Diego and Mexico City.

Currently, there is a CARS Delivery in both Montclair and Ramsey; the CARS in Montclair is fully up and functional, but Lippin is currently working with the location in Ramsey to open an Atomic Wings Express in that location as well.

Perhaps the biggest difference between an Atomic Wings and an Atomic Wings Express is the selection. Atomic Wings Express offers a variety of wings and sauces, but a free-standing Atomic Wings offers much more. Part of the variety are wings, burgers, wraps, soups, chili and desserts.

“My favorite is the Tai Chili, which has a hint of heat and some good Asian flavoring,” said Lippin.

According to Lippin, although his restaurants vary per location, he strives to make sure they are all clean, minimal, comfortable and have a little bit of ’50s retro feel. The company’s brand color is the orange and blue, so Lippin makes sure there is standardization between all of them, with differentiation based on where they are. This allows all of the restaurants to look similar, while allowing them to still take on a personality of their own.

The biggest thing Lippin wants people to know is that all ingredients used are fresh. “The wings are real quality food – it’s not health food but it’s fresh and clean and all the sauces are made in-house,” said Lippin. “The sauces are distinct and clean and different. We spend a lot of time and energy creating our sauces, and the quality of the chicken is great.”

CARS Delivery on Valley Road in Montclair offers Atomic Wings, and they are open for those late-night cravings! CARS is open from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, 12 p.m. to 3 a.m. on Saturdays and 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays; CARS is not open on Mondays.
