Sorrelli jewelry fulfills the fabulous needs of all ages and budgets.
In the center of bustling, downtown Montclair, Sorrelli jewelry makes busy heart’s skip a beat and eyes widen in I-have-to-have-that awe. Marketing and business development manager Deanna Ruzanski says, “We love having a home in Montclair. We have built a really good customer base of women who come to Sorrelli for their everyday jewelry as well as jewelry for their special occasion.” Sorrelli Montclair opened in November of 2013 on Church St. and upon the first year of opening shop, the jewelry destination took third place in The Best of Essex for the “Best Jewelry Store.”
The family-owned jewelry company was founded in 1983 by Lisa Oswald. Oswald, now head designer and creative force behind the company, graduated from Kutztown University and made a big move to the city of dreams, New York City, to start the business. She began by designing pieces and selling the jewelry to wholesale boutiques out of her Brooklyn loft. She then went on to open the flagship store in 2004, that still remains in Kutztown, P.A. today. The store was the first of three locations. The second location is right here in Montclair, N.J., and the third in Allentown, P.A.
Sorrelli designs take customers on a sparkling commute back in time all while forecasting the future, as its vintage inspirations provide modern ambition. Ruzanski says, “Our pieces are designed to be passed down from generation to generation.” All of the jewelry is handcrafted and features Swarvoski Crystals, semi precious stones or a combination of both. Sorrelli takes not only their product but their clients seriously, offering a lifetime guarantee on all jewelry purchases.
At Sorrelli, there is something for everyone. Items start at the affordable rate of $50.00 and under and rise to the Avant-garde Collection, which is over $1,000.00. Like the many jewelry collections, each Sorrelli location is unique in decor. Oswald collects antique furniture that she then refurbishes and puts to use one-of-a-kind displays for the jewels.
Sorrelli Montclair is highly active in the community, hosting several events throughout the year and makes for the perfect one-stop-shop for gift giving or self indulgence. Sorrelli has also been featured in prestigious publications such as Bridal Guide, Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping, Oprah Magazine, Redbook, and Seventeen.
