iDesign Floral Events brings a Blooms and Brunch workshop to The Nutley Historical Society Museum on Sunday, Jan. 29. Participants can enjoy good company and treats within the stunning museum walls. Blooms and Brunch will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at The Nutley Historical Society Museum, located at 65 Church St. in Nutley.

Participation in Blooms and Brunch costs $85 per person. A percentage of the proceeds will benefit the Nutley Historical Society. The Nutley Historical Society is a non-profit organization aimed at serving the educational, cultural and historical needs of the community.

The Blooms and Brunch event provides a unique and memorable experience that will leave you with an attractive flower arrangement to take home. The flowers, foliage, vase and floral shears are all provided, so you and your friends can enjoy the experience. Participants are encouraged to sign up with family or friends. Brunch will be served at the event, including fruit, bagels, pastries, coffee, tea and punch.

“Our workshops are a hands-on horticulture experience, using the freshest seasonal flowers and foliage,” explained Kate Correll, a nationally recognized Floral Designer and founder of iDesign.

Correll founded iDesign to satisfy her love of teaching and Floral Design, and workshops like Blooms and Brunch allow her to do just that. Correll teaches Floral Design with the Rutherford Adult School in Rutherford, N.J. She started iDesign to spread her artistic vision and reach more people in the community. And what’s more, Correll gets to spend time with her family while working; Correll runs the business with help from her daughter, daughter-in-law and granddaughters.

iDesign sponsors workshops like Blooms and Brunch for participants to explore their creative instincts while interacting with others. “Each arrangement is individually conceived, thereby empowering each participant to believe in their unique creative abilities,” said Correll.

iDesign also designs personalized flower arrangements for weddings and events, as well as provides private classes for your business, club or organization. The private floral classes give specialized, hands-on instruction for participants. Whatever your style, color scheme or floral needs, iDesign can create the perfect setting and spirit for your special day.

Participants in Blooms and Brunch must be 21 or older. Register for Blooms and Brunch at idesignfloralevents.com by Monday, Jan. 23 to participate. Contact The Nutley Historical Society at 973-667-1528.
