‘Danceworks’ shows the talents of amazing dancers.
Another yearly performance was held at the Kasser Theater in the beginning of April, and it left the audience wanting more. Danceworks was presented by the Montclair State department of Theater and Dance. This performance showcased students at the tail end of their challenging year.
Danceworks included commissioned work from Guggenheim Fellow Claire Porter. This performance was showcased by 12 student dancers and 8 actors. With a combination of varying background, this artistic gathering was quite an intriguing spectacle.
The way the dancers of Danceworks moved was an amazing thing to witness. Their dedication to their art was obvious as they moved across the stage, showing that their hard work throughout the year truly did pay off.
