Nothing says fall quite like a brand new pair of jeans.  When I think of September, I picture a Pumpkin Spice Latte in one hand and a shopping list of my favorite denim pants in the other.  It can be so exciting sorting through all of the different styles, washes, and rises available.  With so many options, it can be difficult to decide on one that is right for you.  That’s why we’ve narrowed down the selection to just a few of fall’s most popular picks.

  • Flare.  70’s style denim has made a comeback in a big way.  This ultraflattering and chic casual jean style is in for fall, and thanks to some modern adjustments, it’s better than ever.  Try pairing with a silk blouse and some chunky heels to stay with the retro look.
  • Boyfriend.  Boyfriend jeans can be the trickiest to wear, but once you have a knack for proportions, they can really step up your fashion game.  This style of denim is traditionally baggy and relaxed on the body, so to compensate, you’ll want to wear a tight fitting top on your upper half.  Boyfriend jeans are also best worn with heels to add a touch of femininity to a very masculine looking piece of clothing.
  • Skinny.  Skinny jeans are almost always on trend, and this body-hugging style of denim can be paired with just about anything.  When tucked into boots or booties, they fit seamlessly, making them a perfect fit for fall.  Skinny jeans also look equally as flattering when matched with some strappy heels for a night out.  Skinny jeans are best worn with a tighter fitting top to avoid having that ‘top-heavy’ appearance.
  • Bootcut.  Bootcut jeans will typically fit tight to the knee and then slightly flare out at the bottom.  This cut of denim is a little less restrictive than the skinny jean, making it just as comfortable with the same chic look.  Bootcut jeans can also be worn with both tight and loose fitting tops, being that the slightly flared bottoms create a balance of proportions.
