Trendy pieces that you need this fall.
As amazing as it is to have clear skies and open pools for three months, I think we can all agree that there’s something exciting about breaking out all of that fall fashion once the temperature starts to drop. With the addition of more layers comes brand new ways to style outfits and accessories. Planning a new season’s wardrobe is best done in advance, and luckily, with the help of Oasis Clothing, we’ve created a list of trendy pieces that you won’t want to miss out on this fall!
- Felt fedoras. The power of a hat can really be underestimated. Felt fedoras will be everywhere this season, and lucky for us, they go with almost any chilly weather outfit that you can think of. Accessories can take a look from basic to stylish in a flash, so take advantage and get different hats in a variety of colors.

In particular, faux fur vests have become a popular staple in the wardrobes of both fashion bloggers and celebrities. If you’re new to this trend and unsure, start small. Some vests are more puffy and elaborate than others. Try sporting one that is thin with smooth fur in one color. Some vests have an ombré effect to them that you may want to attempt when you’re feeling more comfortable with the trend.
- Peter Pan collars. The Peter Pan collar is a term for a style of clothing collar that was named after the collar of Maude Adams’s costume in her 1905 role as Peter Pan. The collar is cut to lie flat on the front of a blouse or dress, and is most popularly worn in the colors black or white. You can even purchase Peter Pan collars as separate pieces that can be added to any dress or top in your wardrobe, almost like a necklace.
- Plaid shirts. Plaid isn’t just reserved for private school uniforms anymore. Designers are infusing this classic print into just about anything this fall. From year to year, plaid remains, only now with a new twist! Many tops that feature a plaid print also now have a lace or floral back to combine the two patterns into one. If you love the trend, you can also try it in coats, skirts and even sneakers.
In addition to these pieces, Oasis Clothing shared some of their favorite fall trends. One of the store managers at Oasis, Eva Berisha said, “Olive is the color this season. Additionally, printed bell-bottom pants are really making a come back.
