Jackals host family fun.
Looking for something to do that is fun for the whole family? Look no further than the New Jersey Jackals stadium, located right in the heart of Montclair on the campus of Montclair State University. Their stadium offers something for the whole family in addition to great baseball games, and is home to the team who is based in Little Falls, N.J.
They are also a member of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball, which is not affiliated with Major League Baseball. The Jackals were founded in 1998 and have made it to the playoffs eight times, the most recent being in 2012. They have also won four league championships in 1998, 2001, 2002 and 2004. The Jersey Jackals play at the Yogi Berra Stadium, housed on the campus of Montclair State University. The stadium was named after Hall of Fame-r Yogi Berra, who was also a resident of Montclair.
The Jackals have games throughout the entire month of July, so be sure to take the family out for a game! To see the entire schedule, visit their website at jackals.com/schedule.asp. There are also fireworks every other Saturday night, beginning on August 9. Normal game times are Mondays through Fridays at 7:05 p.m., Saturdays at 6:35 p.m. and Sundays at 2:05 p.m.
Tickets start at $9 for bleacher seats and $11 for box seats, with standing room only tickets being sold for $5 once both box and bleacher seats are full. Tickets can be bought online or in person at the stadium.
The Yogi Berra Stadium is also complete with a concession stand featuring wine, beer, grilled items, ice cream and more! The stadium also offers specials, such as group discounts and birthday parties. The biggest Jackals fans can also visit the shop online to make sure they’re ready for all of their games for the rest of the reason, with merchandise at great prices, such as a New Jersey Jackals t-shirt for just $15.
