Peter Pilotto’s fabulous designs.
Collaborations are becoming more and more popular. Being able to make high fashion accessible is leaving shoppers craving more. After Karl Lagerfeld’s collab with H&M in 2004, many others were influenced to join. His collection built up so much hype and sold out in just a few hours. One in particular is Target, who began to collab with designers such as Zac Posen, Missoni, Jason Wu and most recently Phillip Lim.
Hitting stores in September, Phillip Lim’s line has made a splash at Target stores. It may seem like it just launched, but Target was ready for their next boldest collab. Shortly after the launch Target announced they would be teaming up with London-based brand, Peter Pilotto.
Designers Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos agreed. They were excited to work with Target. Discussing the collaboration, Pilotto said, “By working with Target, we’re able to broaden our reach and bring our design aesthetic to an entirely new audience.” That is exactly what they achieved with this line.
De Vos also added, “This is a pivotal moment for our brand. Our collection for Target embodies the elegance and spirit of our own line, but makes it accessible to everyone.”
The lookbook was released earlier this week and the 70-piece line does exactly what De Vos said it would. The vibrant, colorful, flirty collection includes dresses, skirts, shorts, tops, swimwear, footwear, bags and even accessories. In which they all exemplify the bold style of the brand at an affordable price.
Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos’ collection has a surfer-vibe with a touch of elegance. It is quiet different. Full of wild patterns and mismatched sets, everything is perfect. It is ready for the spring and summer seasons. It has all the items to zest up your wardrobe. The best part is that everything is just under $80! This is truly a bargain.
Also, the Peter Pilotto collection will be available online at Net-a-Porter.com. This will make it the first Target fashion designer line to be available internationally. Now, all the fashion fans outside of the United States can enjoy. Shopping online provides numerous advantages.
