Seed Artists has added a musical surprise to compensate for rescheduling!
Blizzard Jonas was the first snowstorm of 2016 that produced about three feet of snow, impacting the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast United States. The storm was announced as a state of emergency, therefore driving was prohibited.
Scott Kennedy, CEO of Studio042, said, “The governor was correct to declare a State of Emergency. That declaration triggers an abundance of caution which keeps citizens safely sheltered and released an enormous amount of supervisory and technical support for the snow clearing operations. It is always better to put lives and safety first. The powers invested on the governor’s office enabled him to activate our emergency operations plans held in place for just this type of an event. That declaration triggers command and control authority over all aspects of the event with state level emergency managers; it’s a pretty powerful plan. Here is the actual declaration signed by Governor Chris Christie; it defines those powers and who is in charge. It was a good call by Governor Christie and I am looking forward to the rescheduled event.” For information on how Montclair was affected, please take the time to reflect on “Essex County Snow Plows Cut Corners in Montclair.”
