Songwriters at the Sea features a great line-up for the night!
It might be fall, but that’s not stopping the Songwriters at the Sea show for the Outpost in the Burbs on Friday, Oct. 17 from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. This show will be featuring Joe D’Urso, Willie Nile, Allison Moorer and Joe Rapolla with special guest Anthony D’Amato.
According to the Outpost website about the Songwriters at the Sea show, “the ‘sea’ in this case is the Jersey Shore. And who better to be your escort for the evening than New Jersey icon Joe D’Urso whose last appearance at the Outpost was this past January with Willie Nile?”
D’Urso will be returning with Nile as his guest this time around. “Also appearing are American alternative country singer (and the younger sister of Shelby Lynne) Allison Moorer who opened for her husband’s (Steve Earle’s) September 2008 Outpost show and Joe Rapolla, another Jersey Shore fixture whose music has been described as ‘a unique blend of The Beatles, Eagles, and Bruce Springsteen with some Nashville thrown in there.'”
Tickets for the Songwriters at the Sea show are $25 in advance and can be purchased in person at Keil’s Pharmacy, Terra Tea and Studio042. They can also be purchased online at ticketleap.com. The show is from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., so be sure to get there with plenty of time for parking and to ensure you don’t need to rush around before what is sure to be a great show to kick off the new season!
