Songwriters at the Sea for Outpost

The Songwriters at the Sea show at Outpost is sure to warm up your fall. To name a few stars at the show are Joe D'Urso, Willie Nile, Anthony D'Amato.

It might be fall, but that’s not stopping the Songwriters at the Sea show for the Outpost in the Burbs on Friday, Oct. 17 from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. This show will be featuring Joe D’Urso, Willie Nile, Allison Moorer and Joe Rapolla with special guest Anthony D’Amato.

According to the Outpost website about the Songwriters at the Sea show, “the ‘sea’ in this case is the Jersey Shore. And who better to be your escort for the evening than New Jersey icon Joe D’Urso whose last appearance at the Outpost was this past January with Willie Nile?”

D’Urso will be returning with Nile as his guest this time around. “Also appearing are American alternative country singer (and the younger sister of Shelby Lynne) Allison Moorer who opened for her husband’s (Steve Earle’s) September 2008 Outpost show and Joe Rapolla, another Jersey Shore fixture whose music has been described as ‘a unique blend of The Beatles, Eagles, and Bruce Springsteen with some Nashville thrown in there.'”

Tickets for the Songwriters at the Sea show are $25 in advance and can be purchased in person at Keil’s PharmacyTerra Tea and Studio042. They can also be purchased online at ticketleap.com. The show is from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., so be sure to get there with plenty of time for parking and to ensure you don’t need to rush around before what is sure to be a great show to kick off the new season!
This venue is located just one block over from Valley Road, which has great choices for places to eat before or after the show. One restaurant, Nauna’s Bella Casa, will give you a wonderful experience perfect for the whole family. Nauna’s offers a wide array of Italian cooking, appetizers, soups, salads, pastas, sandwiches, veal, chicken and seafood dishes. All reasonably priced, from their recommended fried calamari at $9.99, chicken parmigiana at $14.99 and stuffed rigatoni at $13.99.
