Witness the musical works of Steve Gunn and Dawn Landes.
If you’re free on Friday, April 8, make your way to the Unitarian Universalist Congregation (Fletcher Hall) at 67 Church St. in Montclair for Steve Gunn and Dawn Landes’ performance.
Steve Gunn is a guitarist and songwriter from New York. With nearly 15 years of experience, Gunn’s astounding solo albums and work with GHQ embodies contemporary guitar-driven music. Gunn’s 2009 solo album, Boerum Palace, demonstrated a powerful skill for songcraft. He began to sing more that would compliment his guitar practice equally. He writes memorable tunes and lyrics, ultimately creating his own signature. The guitarist and songwriter is a self-assured masterpiece; due to international performances, he has cultivated a fanbase worldwide. You can even catch him playing with his band as well as Kurt Vile’s band, the Violators, as the guitarist.
Dawn Landes is an American singer, songwriter and musician. Originally from Louisville, Ky., Landes has been a resident of Brooklyn, N.Y. for many years now as she was an undergraduate student at New York University.
