First ever Strange Xchange comes to Montclair.
The Wellmont Theater will be home to something quite different than their usual lineup this summer. On Saturday, June 20, the Strange Xchange Pop Up Flea Market will be making its way to Montclair and the Wellmont.
The Strange Xchange is hosted by Mark and Mark from Weird NJ, and will have a ton of interesting vendors on display. Some confirmed vendors so far include: Bat Factory, Steve Berman, Bobby Bates Photography & Video, True Jersey, Frankenstien Labs, Funky Chunks, Skullboy, Randy Now’s Man Cave, Top Notch by Design, Beard NJ LLC, 2DYE4 Gothic Offerings, Friendship Place Candle Company, Toad Hollow and many more. Aside from these great vendors, there will be music, drinks, food trucks and fun for the whole family. There will also be some additional entertainment by the Circus Rejects, a pair of circus clowns that travels to various events and will leave quite a lasting impression. If you’re looking for food before or after the flea market, be sure to check out the many options that are located right by the Wellmont. One great choice is Ah Pizz, a delicious pizzeria right off of Bloomfield on North Willow Street. Ah Pizz offers amazing choices in pizzas and Italian-style dishes, and is a BYO/BYOB restaurant.
Entry to the Strange Xchange Flea Market starts at $5, with an early bird option for $10 where you will get early admission and hour before the event begins. Tickets are available online at livenation.com or at the Wellmont Theater box office. The Wellmont Theater is located right off of Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair. Parking is available across from the venue, but is limited. Concert-goers are encouraged to arrive early for a spot, but additional parking is also available on the side streets and along Bloomfield Avenue. The flea market starts at 11 a.m. for the earlybird time and noon regular time, and the market will close at 5 p.m. Be sure to get there early to experience everything Montclair has to offer and see all of the “strange” items on display!
