Spend your Valentine’s Day with Chad Stuart and Jeremy Clyde at Outpost in the Burbs
Spending Valentine’s Day alone should not break your heart, especially if you make it a special night with the old-time romantic folk sounds of Chad Stuart and Jeremy Clyde at Outpost in the Burbs. Even if you do have that special romantic someone in your life, this is still a perfect way to celebrate that night. You can’t go wrong with this!
Formed in the UK in 1960 while both were just 18 years of age, Chad Stuart and Jeremy Clyde have created great hits. Hits that in turn created a larger fanbase in the US than in their hometowns. Even, largely due to their frequent use of guitar-backed love songs. As Americans know, guitar is a very widely used instrument. They are consistently used in shows at Outpost in the Burbs.
In the wake of the 1964 British Invasion of the Beatles, Rolling Stones and others, these men put forth their first and two most well-known singles. They are “Summer Song” and “Yesterday’s Gone.” Both of these singles showcase very strong elements of the Beatles and Oldies songs of the 50’s. Chad Stuart and Jeremy Clyde are always sure to let their listeners know that by no means are they out to be just another Oldies and/or British invasion fixture. Some other songs they have that are sure to set the Valentine’s Day mood are “The Way You Look Tonight,” “Everyone’s Gone to the Moon” and “Willows Weep for Me.” These songs will have the lovebirds singing.
It has been six years since Chad Stuart and Jeremy Clyde have released an album. Concertgoers will find a treasure trove of some of their discography to snap up at intermission or before the show. In which Outpost in the Burbs is always sure to offer.

The Chad Stuart and Jeremy Cylde show is not the only place of romance. There is quite an array of romantic-type eateries in Montclair. On Bloomfield Avenue, its intersecting streets and corners have quiet a variety. The most quintessential one is Le Petit Parisien on Church Street. Its vast array of French salads, baguettes and desserts such as the ever-popular macaroon in almost every flavor and color imaginable. A few other places that set off a great romantic vibe are: Halcyon, known for high-end organic staples, on Walnut Street. Fricasee, a higher-end French eatery on Park Place (look for the building with a rooster mural). Acapello, just around the corner from the Wellmont and Trumpets Jazz Club just off Walnut Street and within a very short walking distance from the train station.
