Hannibal Buress at the Wellmont

Hannibal Buress, known for his work on Comedy Central and Adult Swim, will be taking the Wellmont stage on March 28. Be prepared for a fun filled night!

Coming to the Wellmont stage on Saturday, March 28 is comedian Hannibal Buress, who is sure to leave the audience in tears. Buress is known for playing Lincoln Rice in the Comedy Central series Broad City and Matt Attack in the Adult Swim series China, IL. He also serves as a sidekick for Eric André on The Eric André Show.

Hannibal Buress has been in a few movies as well, such as Neighbors (2014) and Daddy’s Home (2015), and will also appear as a voice actor in the movies Angry Birds and The Secret Life of Pets in 2016. Buress has appeared on late-night talk shows such as Conan and Jimmy Kimmel Live! and has released three albums: My Name Is Hannibal, Animal Furnace and Live From Chicago.

Hannibal Buress has also won two awards for his comedic skills. In 2007, Buress won for his stand-up routine as “Chicago’s Funniest Person” by Time Out Chicago, and won again for his stand-up in 2012 through Comedy Central’s American Comedy Awards for Best Club Comic. Buress has also been nominated for his writing on shows such as 30 Rock and Saturday Night Live.

Hannibal Buress tickets start at $25 and are available online at livenation.com or at the Wellmont Theater box office. The Wellmont Theater is located right off of Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair. Parking is available across from the venue, but is limited. Concert-goers are encouraged to arrive early for a spot, but additional parking is also available on the side streets and along Bloomfield Avenue. The show starts at 8 p.m. but doors open at 7 p.m., so be sure to get there early to experience everything Montclair has to offer!
