Sound Off Productions by Domenic Cotter.
For over 15 years, Domenic Cotter and his company, Sound Off Productions, Inc., have produced well over 100 shows for broadcast television, theatrical release and new media – including a wide variety of television and webcast productions – ranging from music and original programming to sports and cable series/specials. With headquarters based in Montclair, Sound Off Productions is in a prime location to continue making great projects.
Cotter is the president of Sound Off Productions as well as the owner who oversees all aspects of every project. He works alongside a full time assistant, but also hires various people each year to help him execute each project. Cotter began his career working with NBA Entertainment and started his own company in 2004. He has experience on a wide range of projects, starting off his career with sports production and eventually transitioning into the music and entertainment scene.
According to Cotter, he has “produced content for the best television and the Internet [have] to offer, with networks and websites such as CBS, NBC, Palladia, Fuse, AXS-TV, ABC Sports, ESPN, CMT, USA, MTV, VH-1, Network Live, Control Room, You Tube, Vevo, Yahoo and AOL. In addition, Cotter and Sound Off specialize in live music and entertainment broadcast production, having produced numerous live TV concerts/specials for some of the biggest names in music, including Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Stevie Wonder, Madonna, Black Eyed Peas, Beyonce, Foo Fighters, Dave Matthews Band, Bon Jovi, Keith Urban, Rod Stewart and Carrie Underwood.”
Cotter has experience working on so many different projects, many of which were extremely memorable. “Every project is an amazing experience, but I would say [my favorite project I have worked on is] the Global Citizen Festival, live from Central Park,” said Cotter.
The most recent project Cotter and Sound Off Productions have worked on is producing the live worldwide broadcast of the final Grateful Dead concerts from Soldier Field in Chicago, but this is just the most recent project in what is sure to be many more future projects.
