Chris Isaak Comes to Wellmont Stage

Chris Isaak, both rock musician and occasional actor, comes to the Wellmont stage on Friday, September 5. Isaak is well-known for his song "Wicked Game."

Chris Isaak is making his debut at the Wellmont Theater in Montclair on Friday, Sept. 5, so be sure to get your tickets while you can! Isaak is both a rock musician and an occasional actor, most recently having appeared on TV Land’s Hot in Cleveland. Isaak’s most recent honor includes receiving  the Stockton Arts Commission STAR Award in his hometown of Stockton, Calif. in September of 2011.

Chris Isaak signed a contract to Warner Bros. Records for his first album, Silvertone, in 1984 and has been on the music scene since. Isaak is most well-known for his song “Wicked Game,” which was originally released in 1989 but also featured in the David Lynch film Wild at Heart as an instrumental version. His most recent album, Beyond the Sun, was released in 2011 and reached the 34th spot on the US Billboard 200 chart, as well as reaching gold status in Australia.

Chris Isaak’s tickets start at $39.50 for general admission floor seats and are on sale now! Tickets can be purchased online at concerts.livenation.com or at the Wellmont box office. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m., so be sure to arrive early for parking and a taste of what Montclair has to offer! There is limited parking available across from the Wellmont and additional parking along other side streets.

For food before and after the show, take a walk down Bloomfield Avenue and see what Montclair has to offer. Ah Pizz is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. They’re open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 9 p.m.
