Amanti Vino is hosting an epic showdown of beverages, with a side of gourmet dinner this month. Cru vs. Brew 2015 features Wine icon Michael Skurnik of Skurnik Wines pitted against Garrett Brown of Firestone Walker Brewery in a throwdown: wine versus beer. The event boasts a 5-course meal, prepared by chefs Ariane Duarte (of Ariane Kitchen & Bar), Shawn Paul Dalziel (of Laurel & Sage), John Sauchelli (of Maritime Parc), Corey Heyer (of Bernards Inn), Francesco Palmieri (of the Orange Squirrel) and James Laird (of Restaurant Serenade,) each paired with a wine and beer selection from each competitor.

Escape is hosting two exclusive dinners in the coming month. The Rhone Wines Dinner will take place October 21st, in celebration of Escape’s alliance with Wine Legend. Escape’s own Chef Bryan Gregg is preparing a dining experience with wines from Côte du Rhône. The OctoberFeast Dinner with SO Tasty Vegan welcomes Chef Sally Owens of SO Tasty Vegan to the Escape kitchen for a vegan meal.
