Wellmont welcomes line-up of great groups including Dirty Heads, Pepper and Aer.
Dirty Heads and Pepper, alongside special guest Aer, are set to get the Wellmont pumping on Friday, July 25. Tickets start for as low as $25 and are going fast, so be sure to get your seat for this sure-to-be-amazing show!
Aer will be taking the Wellmont stage first, sure to get the audience in the mood for some fun. According to their Facebook page, Aer’s first album, The Bright Side, “revealed two musicians with something to say and a unique way of saying it, earning notable accolades and acclaim. Now, the group’s sophomore effort, Aer, reveals an exciting step forward in the evolution of the pair’s music.”
The Aer duo has such a unique sound and is perfect to groove to on a warm summer night at the Wellmont. New to their music? Check out their pages on Sound Cloud, Facebook, YouTube or even their website (freshaermovement.com) for a sneak-peak at their tunes.
Taking the Wellmont stage after Aer are Dirty Heads and Pepper. Dirty Heads have been described as a SoCal rock/reggae/hip-hop band, and their music is definitely not something to be ignored. Their debut album included a great single, “Lay Me Down,” which stayed at number one on the Billboard Alternative Chart for 11 weeks – something that outlasted names such as the Black Keys, Kings of Leon and 30 Seconds to Mars.
Pepper is comprised of a trio who formed in 1997 while living in Hawaii, moving to the mainland and making their music. After taking a few years off, the trio got back together in 2010 to create their EP, Stiches. The success of this album allowed the three to re-focus and make their sixth album, re-opening their musical career and leading to their tour, stopping at the Wellmont along the way.
