Sadly, the summer is ending and fall is right around the corner. Good things don’t last forever, they say. Soon you’ll be pulling out those knitted sweaters, cardigans, boots, jackets and blazers out of your closet once again, but that doesn’t mean you have to completely put away your summer wardrobe. There are a couple of pieces you can and should leave out for the fall, just to enjoy them a bit longer.

To begin, this summer we saw many girls wearing high-waisted shorts and pants, as well as boyfriend jeans. These two will still be in this fall. You might ask yourself how you will wear shorts when the weather starts coming down to 50’s and 6o’s. You can’t forget one of the best things ever made to add to our outfits: stockings.

There are so many different styles that I’m sure you’ll find one that will go well with your shorts. You might also want to search for a blazer and or cardigan to pair them up with.

The cropped top, which was also in this summer, is another piece you might want to keep around. InStyle also gave some options on how to make your summer pieces work for fall as well. In their post, they included a picture of two cropped tops modeled this summer on the runway. They suggested pairing them up with some slim high waist cropped pants.

Your dresses can remain usable, as well. Dresses can also easily be worn with stockings, a blazer or cardigan, and of course our fall favorites: boots and scarves. One of the many stores you might want to check out for some affordable add-ons to your summer pieces is H&M. Many of their stockings and scarves range in price from four to $10.

Keep these suggestions in mind, but meanwhile enjoy the remaining of the summer days, which take forever to arrive, but are so quick to leave.
