Fume thanks community after 10 years.
Citizens of Montclair are no strangers with Fume, a local cigar shop and lounge. This year, Fume is getting ready to celebrate their 10th anniversary and owner Ralph Alberto is ready to say thank you to the community.
On Thursday, Aug. 14, Fume will be hosting a special barbecue event from 5 – 10 p.m. to help commemorate the occasion. This barbecue will feature a special anniversary cigar crafted by Litto Gomez of La Flor Dominicana. La Flor Dominicana is a boutique-style cigar brand, created by the company started and currently owned by Gomez.
Gomez will be at the event on the 14th, creating an anniversary cigar for none other than Fume. Cigar Aficionado has even named Gomez the “most innovative mind in the cigar business.” You definitely don’t want to miss out on seeing Gomez in person!
Alberto is looking forward to hosting the event as a way to give back to his customers. “I want to say thank you to the community for being with us for 10 years,” said Alberto.
The cigar shop and lounge has something to offer all cigar aficionados! There is a full array of fine premium cigars and tobacco accessories perfect for cigar connoisseur. Fume offer boutique brands, things that Alberto says are very good and not mainstream.
According to their website, Fume offers a “lounge that is like a man cave,” featuring high definition televisions, game tables and even humidified lockers for customers to store their own cigars. Customers can also register for a membership with Fume, giving them access to a fully humidified locker for their cigars as well as full access to the lounge after it closes to the public at 6 p.m. Annual membership is $400 for a private locker or $300 per person to share a locker.
Other membership perks include 15 percent off all purchases from Fume, as well as invitations to special events, such as Fume’s annual Superbowl party. During football season, Fume also offers food in the lounge to its members.
Fume has always offered great things for their customers, but things are always changing. For example, Fume now offers cigar rolling for events, such as weddings.
