Horizon Manor is a gracious country inn for senior guests who need a supervised living environment, according Keith Hach, Business Admininstrator. “We are family-owned and operated for 38 years and there is always an owner on premise, seven days per week, during working hours,” said Hach.
According to Hach, all guests at the inn must be ambulatory and not in need of skilled nursing care. “This is an inn for elderly individuals who need assistance with activities of daily living or no longer choose to live alone,” said Hach. There are a total of 36 guests, which allows the staff to get to know their guests on a personal level.
Guests are provided with on call Registered Nurses who complete weekly visits, lunch and supper in a dining room as well as breakfast in the guest’s room, assistance with bathing/dressing, maid services, laundry and recreational activities.
Horizon Manor also offers long-term stays, respite stays, post-operative stays and daily stays at $175 per day. Additionally, hourly stays are also available at $17 per hour.
