According to Dr. Downie, she chose Montclair for her practice because she loved the diversity of the area. “I loved the fact that it was 12 miles from the city,” said Dr. Downie. “I love the community, and I’m also a giant foodie. Although, I trained in the city, I wanted a suburban practice.”

Dr. Downie works alongside Jennifer Goldberg, MS, PA-C. Goldberg studied undergraduate at Syracuse University before also studying the University of Medicine and Dentistry of N.J., completing her Masters of Physician Assistant in 1997. Alongside Goldberg and Dr. Downie, the practice also works with an office manager, receptionists, three medical assistants and a business manager who doubles as the lawyer for the practice.
Dr. Downie herself has plenty of experience in her field, lecturing both nationally and internationally. She has experience publishing articles, participating in critical trials and increasing her knowledge so she can “offer patients the best care that they can possibly get.”
