The Janoskians to take Wellmont stage.
On Friday, Oct. 10, The Janoskians will perform at the Wellmont Theater off of Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair, N.J. as part of their Got Cake Tour. The Janoskians, which stands for “Just Another Name Of Silly Kids In Another Nation,” started off as a YouTube group and quickly gained fame. They are originally from Australia, but recently moved and are now based in Los Angeles.
Their videos mainly consist of the five members doing pranks, performing gross-out humor on the unsuspecting public and each other and filming “mockumentaries,” dares and skits. The group has been criticized for pulling “disgusting pranks on strangers” and for engaging in “sleazy, offensive and intimidating” behavior around babies and women.
The Jaskonians have also released multiple albums in 2012, 2013 and 2014. Their most recent album is titled “This F***ing Song,” with a more radio-friendly version being released as “This Freaking Song.” The group consists of Beau Brooks, Jai Brooks, Luke Brooks, Danile Sahyounie and James Yammouni; the three Brooks are also brothers.
For food before and after the Janoskians show, take a walk down Bloomfield Avenue and see what Montclair has to offer. Elevation Burger offers the freshest, made-to-order burgers and the best milkshakes, perfect for a pre-show meal that’s not too heavy. With options for those who still want to eat healthy, Elevation Burger even offers things such as a lettuce wrap instead of buns for the burgers.
The Janoskians tickets start at $30 for general admission floor seats and are on sale now! Tickets can be purchased online at concerts.livenation.com or at the Wellmont box office. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m., so be sure to arrive early for parking and a taste of what Montclair has to offer! There is also limited parking available across from the Wellmont and additional parking along other side streets, as well as parking garage a few blocks away that concert-goers may park in at an hourly rate.
