Jason Bonham, the son of former Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham, followed in his father’s footsteps, as he is a talented drummer. After his father’s death in 1980, he decided to join Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page on his tour in the wake of his new album release, Outrider, in 1988. He also accompanied the band during their performance in New York for the Atlantic Records 40th Anniversary.

Throughout the late 80s and 90s, he has drummed for artists, such as Paul Rodgers, Joe Bonamassa and even his Aunt Debbie Bonham. He formed the Led Zeppelin Experience tour in 2010. Last year, the group toured with Heart, a musical group formed by sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson.

There are numerous places to eat before and after the show. Accappello Restaurant, located on 398 Bloomfield Avenue, has Italian-styled food for those who are feeling the need to eat some pasta. They are open until 10 p.m. on Thursdays, and they take reservations. Not too far down the road is Kei Kabob, located on 401 Bloomfield Avenue. This is Montclair’s first Persian restaurant, so why not try something different? They stay open until 10 p.m. as well.

Tickets start at $46.50 and are available through Live Nation on their website, at livenation.com. Get your tickets now before they sell out. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show kicks off at 8:00 p.m. Parking is available at the Wellmont, but is very limited, so plan to arrive early. Don’t miss your chance to listen to Led Zeppelin music live, as this could be your last chance to experience this show.
