Microchip your pet at the Montclair Animal Shelter.
Losing your pet is like losing a member of your family. Bring your furry friend to the Montclair Animal Shelter or the Verona Rabies Clinic to microchip your pet today, making it easier to locate them if they are ever lost or stolen.
According to a recent announcement, “One of the best ways to increase the chances that a lost pet will be found is by having it microchipped. The Montclair Animal Shelter is running a promotional campaign to let folks know about its microchipping services. The cost of this painless microchip procedure is $20.”
There are definite benefits to microchipping your pet, which contains information to help find your furry friend. According to The Humane Society of the U.S., “The microchip contains a registration number and the phone number of the registry for the Shelter’s chips. A handheld scanner reads the radio frequency of the chip and displays this information. An animal shelter or vet clinic that finds your pet can contact the registry to get your name and phone number.”
