College can be an exceedingly stressful time in a person’s life.  It takes an incredible amount of studying and learning in order to become the professional that you believe you were meant to be.  With all of that frantic scurrying from class to class, finding the time to take a break and eat something may seem impossible in your day-to-day life as a college student.  During previous semesters, many students have expressed their concern about finding something quick to eat on a campus where the food locations are so widely spread apart.  In the past, having a class on the wrong side of the school could mean a very long walk to your next meal.  However, have no fear!  New dining places are here!

Montclair State University (MSU) has just announced that there are updated places to eat on campus, some located in brand new buildings.  With the commencement of the 2015-2016 school year, Montclair State University will open its doors to both a new business building and a modern science building.  In addition to these facilities, the school will also be adding dining spots for the on-the-go college student.  Some of these new food hot spots will include a Panda Express, California Tortilla, Pollo and Olo Sushi.

A small eatery called The Venture Cafe will be also added to The School of Business and the dining establishment for the Environmental and Life Sciences Building has yet to be announced.  To date, the school now has six new food locations and it appears that more are to come.  Over summer break, MSU renovated the Student Center cafeteria, which will be presented on the first day of classes.  We’ll just have to wait and see what else MSU has in store for its students and visitors!

MSU frequently changes their dining choices from year to year. During my time at MSU, this year’s changes have been the most drastic to date.  As a Montclair State student, these dining additions will allow thousands to be able to grab food quickly while working around a busy schedule.  Not only so, but it will present the students with a greater variety of options.  The new dining establishments will open on the first day of classes, Tuesday, Sept. 2.  So, who’s hungry?
