O-Town is an American boy band coming to the Wellmont that was formed from the first season of the MTV reality TV series Making the Band in 2000. The group was originally managed by Lou Pearlman during their first season, but later managed by Mike Morin for their debut album and remaining television seasons. The original members of the band were Jacob Underwood, Ashley Parker Angel, Erik-Michael Estrada, Trevor Penick and Ikaika Kahoano. Kahoano left the band several weeks after the band was formed and was replaced by Dan Miller. Estrada and Miller acted as the lead singers.

The most recent album released by the group is “Lines and Circles,” on Aug. 24, 2014. The stats have not yet been released if the album reached on the charts, but their previous albums in the early 2000’s reached the fifth and 28th slots on the American Charts.

You can get into that laid back and carefree feeling before the show with a number of restaurants in the area. The Wellmont Theater is located right on Bloomfield Ave and offers many options for food and drinks. Check out one of the local favorites, Cuban Pete’s, for the perfect outdoor island vibe with a BYO-alcohol policy and hugely talked about Sangria.

O-Town tickets start at $25 and are available online at livenation.com or at the Wellmont Theater box office. The Wellmont Theater is located right off of Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair. Parking is available across from the venue, but is limited. Concert-goers are encouraged to arrive early for a spot, but additional parking is also available on the side streets and along Bloomfield Avenue. The show starts at 8 p.m. but doors open at 7 p.m., so be sure to get there early!
