Raymond’s Restaurant serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner and dessert. The Montclair branch has indoor and outdoor seating, in which they have an enormous patio umbrella, perfect for shade. The employees are generous, friendly and eager to cater to your specific needs.

The scenery inside was exceptional. I remember sitting down and staring at the mutli-colored glass vases they assembled together on shelves. It’s truly amazing to see how something so simple such as these vases can really light up the room. The overall theme of Raymond’s Restaurant can be described as a 60’s diner. Although no one is rolling around in roller blades, the black and white titles speak for themselves.

As I scanned the lunch menu, I noticed that some dishes were highlighted and boxed. I speculated that those dishes had to be Raymond’s signatures.

Since it was my first time, I wanted to played it safe and ordered the Classic Turkey Club, which by the way was highlighted and boxed. My sandwich contained plenty of turkey, which was a plus for me, and was divided into portions that were accessible to bite into. The side of chips surely hit the spot too.

If you’re a fan of a little spice, I recommend the Grilled Chicken and Peppers. I had a mere bite of my friend’s choice and I almost ended up devouring the whole sandwich.

Being that I am a cappuccino lover, I had to order it and try it out for myself! When the server placed our two cups on the table, I was taken by surprise with the artistically designed leaf that thinly hovered over the cappuccino. It looked so beautiful that I was hesitate to even drink it! After taking multiple photos of it, I finally took a sip. The taste matched perfectly with its presentation.
