To follow up on a recent article about the Radio City Rockettes recognizing Montclair Bread Company as a spectacular place to “make time for joy,” the event was just as expected, unbelievably heart-warming! The Radio City Rockettes Megan Levinson and Alyssa Epstein visited fans and families at Montclair Bread Company in their one of kind holiday spirited apparel. You could stop the eye-dropping Rockettes, a mile away! The gorgeous and generous Rockettes shared treats with all attendees and opened their arms to taking photographs as well. While munching on some scrumptious treats, the entire staff was in awe for their well-deserved reward from the Rockettes.

During the last interview, The Montclair Dispatch was able to provide insight of one of the Rockettes, Alyssa Epstein from Livingston. This time, I had the privilege to have a quick Q&A with no other than, Rockette Megan Levinson of North Caldwell, N.J.

Q: How long have you been a part of the Rockette family?
A: It’s hard for me to believe, but this will be my seventh season performing in the Christmas Spectacular with my amazing Radio City Rockette family. I look forward to the first day of rehearsal with the same exhilaration and anticipation as I did my very first year. It still gives me chills of excitement to know that on opening night, I will once again be dancing alongside 35 of my best friends in front of 6,000 people at the legendary Radio City Music Hall.

Q: What was the overall experience like at Montclair Bread Company? The commute to the great town of Montclair? Favorite moment?
A: My overall experience at Montclair Bread Company was delicious and magical. The children I met at Montclair Bread Company were adorable and as excited about meeting Rockettes as they were for delicious donuts. The staff and owners were so welcoming and friendly. My favorite moment was presenting the owner, Rachel, with a certificate from the Radio City Rockettes stating that Montclair Bread Company is a “spectacular” place to make time for joy in their local community. Montclair Bread Company brings people together just like the Christmas Spectacular has been bringing families together at Radio City Music Hall for 84 years. The commute from Radio City to Montclair was quick and easy. Having grown up only a town over from Montclair, I have done that same commute many times.

Q: Since Montclair Bread Company is known for their donuts, what was your favorite and why?
A: My favorite donut was the Chocolate Candy Cane donut, one of the varieties that Montclair Bread Company made specifically for our visit. I have never tried this blend of flavors and it literally melted in my mouth. It was a chocolate donut with vanilla frosting, dusted with crushed candy canes and dripping in chocolate sauce.

Q: Any plans to return to Montclair? And for what?
A: I will absolutely be returning to Montclair! I will actually be going to Montclair soon to do some shopping with my Mom. We will definitely be stopping at Montclair Bread Company during our visit to pick up at least a dozen donuts.
