Up-and-coming artist, Ryan Hobler, is set to perform at Trend Coffee House.
Ryan Hobler, currently living in Montclair, will be playing a show in his new hometown on Jan. 16, hosted by Trend Coffee House. Hobler is an American Noir singer whose been featured in Acoustic Guitar Magazine and Popdose.
Ryan Hobler has been compared to artists such as Sondre Lerche, Andrew Bird and Ryan Adams. According to his website, ryanhobler.com, Hobler frequently moves from genre to genre and has been playing his music all over New York City for two decades.
Ryan Hobler is currently working with well-known producer Andy Baldwin, known for his work with Saint Lucia and Bjork, to bring his career to new heights. Hobler and Baldwin have created a plan for Hobler to release one song every month throughout the entire year of 2014 to build his debut album, The Elusive Yes, “one track at a time.”
The album, The Elusive Yes, releases on Jan. 20, just after the upcoming show. The show is on Friday, Jan. 16 at 8:30 p.m. at Trend Coffee House, located at 411 Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair.
