Seether and Papa Roach Perform

Coming on Jan. 17, 2015 at 5:30 p.m. to the Wellmont Theater are Seether, Papa Roach, Kyng and Islander.

Seether is a South African rock band founded in 1999 in Pretoria. The band was originally formed under the name “Saron Gas” until renaming it to “Seether” in 2002. Disclaimer is their original album and major label debut. Papa Roach is an American rock band from California. Their first major-label release was the triple-platinum album Infest, released in 2000.

Kyng and Islander is a Los Angeles-based metal band consisting of Eddie Veliz on vocals and guitar, Tony Castaneda on bass and backup vocals and Pepe Clarke on drums. The trio’s newest album, Burn The Serum, was released on April 15 on Razor and Tie Records. Islander is an American post-hardcore band from South Carolina who was founded in 2011. The group signed with Victory Records and have released an EP titled Pains in 2013, along with a studio album, Violence & Destruction, which was released this year.

The Wellmont Theater is located right off of Bloomfield Avenue and offers many options for food and drinks. Seether and Papa Roach tickets start at $25 and are available online at livenation.com or at the Wellmont Theater box office. The Wellmont Theater is located right off of Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair. Parking is available across from the venue, but is limited. Concert-goers are encouraged to arrive early for a spot, but additional parking is also available on the side streets and along Bloomfield Avenue. The show starts at 6:30 p.m. but doors open at 5:30 p.m., so be sure to get there early!
