South Moon Under is sweater friendly.
There’s nothing worse than waking up on a chilly morning and all you want to do is stay warm and cozy. When deciding what to wear for the day, the words comfy and warm come to mind. What else gives you just that besides a nice, large, soft sweater?
The concept of a sweater may seem extremely basic, but the versatility and different ways a sweater can be worn are endless. A sweater can be placed over a dress, with a skirt, shorts or simply a pair of your favorite jeans. Sweaters are also the perfect item for layering. Layering with a basic sweater is the perfect way to innovate many items into many different looks and also keep you nice and toasty.
I was heading over to do some shopping for sweaters to add to my wardrobe when I passed a store I have never seen before. Nestled right next store to Urban Outfitters sat South Moon Under on South Park Street in Montclair. I found it astonishing because when I walked in the first thing I asked one of the sales associates was how long the store had been there. She told me they had opened June of last year and I couldn’t believe I have never paid the store any attention.
I was glad I stumbled across it and decided to walk in because I was truly impressed with the selection. From popular brands such as Free People, Splendid, BCBGeneration, Neely, BB Dakota and many more, South Moon Under has a wide selection of clothing, jewelry, handbags and shoes.
One thing I loved most about the store that I realized, while shopping with my mother, was that she found some items she loved for herself. Usually when we go to stores together the clothing is geared towards much younger crowds and she would never find any interest in anything for herself, but South Moon Under was different. The different variety of clothing and accessories appealed to both a younger and older crowd. I knew while walking around and looking through all the different racks that I found a new location I would find myself stopping in more often.
I did leave with what I came in for, and that was a big cozy sweater. The store is bit on the pricey side and you could end up spending tons of money with all the amazing items they have, but I knew I would get so much use out of the sweater. From pairing to layering, the basic sweater would be a key item to many different outfits to keep me cozy this wintery-cold fall.
So head on over to South Moon Under on South Park Street. Get cozy for the cold weather in sweaters! For more information, take a look at their website, southmoonunder.com.
