The Montclair Film Festival is an organization that provides a platform for all filmmakers – this means not just in New Jersey, but around the entire U.S. and world! The main objective of the Montclair Film Festival is to empower and educate the the region’s diverse community and artistic culture.
Colbert has been known to be an extreme advocate and show incredible support to the organization, so this is going to be a very meaningful night to those involved with the Montclair Film Festival. “The event is beneficial for the festival because it not only puts us more so on the map as a serious festival, but it involves New Jersey in a bigger way,” said Joe Redl, employee of the 2015 festival. “It gives us credibility that makes people see New Jersey as a state that respects art. The event not only brings people to New Jersey, but it allows outside authority and opinion to actually think we have an artistic and diversely artistic side.”
