Enjoy the live recording from Lincoln Center: Danny Elfman!
As part of the Lincoln Center Local: Free Screenings series, the Montclair Public Libary will host the recording of Live from Lincoln Center: Danny Elfman’s Music from the Films of Tim Burton on Sat. Nov. 5 at 2 p.m.
This special screening will feature Danny Elfman in his unforgettable Tim Burton film scores such as Batman, Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, and Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Before the actual screening, Brian Abrams, Ph.D. will speaking about Music and Emotion as Mutual, Living Metaphors: Relevance to Film Score. Abrams is a Board-Certified Music Therapist, Analytical Music Therapist, Fellow of the Association for Music and Imagery, and Associate Professor of Music Coordinator, Music Therapy Studies at Montclair State University’s John J. Cali School of Music.
