Just in time for the warmer months ahead, Fin Raw Bar & Kitchen is opening up their third New Jersey location. This seafood restaurant first opened in October 2011. It is now thriving in both the Montclair and Summit locations, so much so that a Fin on the beach is in the works. This new location is set in Long Branch with expectations to open in summer 2017. So what about this local seafood restaurant is yielding so much success?

Affordability. Prices at Fin certainly keep patrons’ wallets in mind. Menu items range from around $10 – $30, which is reasonable for an upscale seafood restaurant in a prime location. Fin generously offers half price oysters every Tuesday; so be prepared for the dinner rush on certain days. Aside from the dinner menu, a large selection of bottled wines is available, starting at less than $20 a bottle.

Delicious cuisine. There is nothing like fresh seafood, anytime of the year. Fin holds true to their promise, offering a variety at the raw bar on top of exquisite kitchen dishes. The menu includes clams, oysters, jumbo shrimp and main lobster as cold and raw options. As for the main kitchen, expect endless options of fish, cooked in various different ways, as well as gourmet side dishes. At Fin, there is something to satisfy every pallet.

“The best part about eating out with oysters is that they come shucked already,” shared seafood fan, Judy Landman. “The come clean and cold and ready to eat.”

Atmosphere. Get ready for a nautical experience the second you enter Fin. Every aspect of the dining area is decorated to feel as though patrons are sitting seaside. The driftwood-covered walls make for an authentic feel while the shelly decor provides a lighter contrast in color. Fin is the perfect place for all occasions, from date night to large family gatherings. The restaurant is open six days a week (Tuesday-Sunday) for dinner hours only.

Fin is owned by the very successful restaurateur duo, Gerry Cerrigone and Robert Gaccione. The restaurant proudly holds the Best of Essex award for three years in a row. Cerrigone and Gaccione are no strangers to the restaurant business, as Fin has sister restaurants in the area: Salute Brick Oven Pizza, Salugo Bistro and The Crosby.
