On June 3, 2017, the Montclair African-American Heritage Foundation held their 28th annual parade and festival. The Montclair African-American Heritage Foundation serves as an outreach to broaden minds and spirits, preserve history and culture, and to recognize and promote cultural resources as an essential element of Montclair’s economic and social well-being. The MAAHF is a non-profit organization that is supported by a diverse group of volunteers that live both in and outside of Montclair.
The following is a photojournalism article of the event. All photos were taken by Raymond Hagans for The Montclair Dispatch.
